The last recorded award before the club voted to disband, won by the same woman for the third time.

“Both the Commercial club and the Emblem club trophies failed to change hands as a result of the annual flower show, held yesterday. Mrs. R. D. Stowell retains the Commercial club cup, awarded for the best display of flowers grown by one person, and Mrs. C. S. Hudson again won the Emblem club cup, for the most artistic arrangement of not less than five varieties of flowers.” Mrs. H. K. Brooks was second for the Emblem cup.

Hudson had held it since 1917 and taken it again in 1921. Three wins on record, under terms that had not moved in six years. The cup the club offered in 1912 was to become the property of anyone who won it three seasons running; hers were not consecutive, and it stayed a travelling trophy.

Twenty-one months later the club voted to disband. The cup went on being awarded for another twenty-five years.
