The Legion's entertainment committee books the clubhouse.

Small, and it fits a pattern this archive has now filled in properly. By 1920 the Emblem Club's building is simply where Bend's organisations go: the Elks were instituted there in 1919, the Commercial Club would adopt its constitution there that November, an aviation company was debated there a fortnight after this notice, and the Legion booked it for a summer dance.

Paul Hosmer was Shevlin-Hixon's publicity man and later a well-known Bend writer.

From the source

Paul Hosmer, chairman of the entertainment committee, announced the dance to be given tonight by the legion at the gymnasium and stated that early in July a dancing party for the membership will be given at the Emblem club.
