Visit Bend leaves the roundel

The end of a run: the organisation that carried the emblem from 2001 stops.

A wordmark reading BEND OR, drawn as type. There is no ring, no disc and no BEND in a circle. Visit Bend had carried a roundel of one construction or another since the Chamber’s visitor bureau first used one in 2001.

This record is here for what it does not show. A collection of appearances that only files the appearances is a collection that cannot say when something stopped, and the twenty-three years this closes are the longest continuous run of the emblem in any organisation’s hands that this archive can document.
