      "It is a later account and the claim is a specific one. “Charter member” of a club whose founder said, at the first annual dinner in January 1913, “there are now twenty-one members”, is a claim about a roll this archive does not have — the longest list it holds is the sixteen men who went to Portland in May 1913, and Stover is not among them. Nothing here contradicts the nomination; nothing here confirms it either."
